We Welcome You

Mark Locke, Board Chair, & Niki Mcllvain, Director Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity

"Thank You"

"For the past 25 years we have had the privilege of building up the Alliance community, and providing affordable housing to area families. We strive to provide families with the opportunity to live stable, self-reliant lives, and we have seen first-hand how home-ownership impacts the lives of our families, as well as the generations to follow. Success starts at home. We build houses and lay a foundation, but our families create the homes and success stories.

Our mission would not be possible without the support of our community. Our volunteers are loyal and the group is consistently growing! We have also received overwhelming support from area businesses and organizations who believe in our mission and support us year after year. There are no words that can adequately express our appreciation to these volunteers, sponsors, and partners. It is all of you who make this vision a reality. Thank you.

If you would like to be involved with Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity, whether as a volunteer or partner, we would love to hear from you and discuss the opportunities! We are just a phone call or email away, and we are excited to hear from you!

Thank you for visiting!"

About Habitat

Our Vision

A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Our Mission Statement

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

About Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity

Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.  Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.  Alliance Area Habitat for Humanity began in the early 1990s with a group of concerned citizens who saw a need for stable housing in Alliance.  Our first house was built in 1993.
